It is a privilege to work in such an amazing school with the mission to educate young women in their feminine genius! I have been a high school educator for the past 19 years in public and private schools and can testify to the many ways our children struggle to know themselves and to know God (especially in the adolescent years!). I am blessed to have come to St. Catherine’s in 2014 and be a part of what God is doing here.

My goal as principal is to create a learning environment where every young woman can grow in her identity as a daughter of God, be confident in who she is and courageous in all she undertakes. To do this, St. Catherine’s educates both the mind and the heart, complementing a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum with opportunities for service. In all that a student does, I expect her to challenge herself, working on areas of weakness and building on areas of strength. In the classroom, our rich academic program can help each young woman develop her academic skills in preparation for collegiate studies.  I also expect her to be aware of the world around her, the needs in our community, and learn how to serve.

Most importantly, I am committed to rooting this community in the love of Jesus so we can grow together as a family of faith. This means that our school community attends Mass daily, we talk about the tough issues of faith in the classroom, and we grow in faith together, sharing in the Gospel message.  I extend this invitation of welcome for all to become part of our faith community, as a student, parent, staff, clergy, donor, or honored guest. You are always welcome here!

May we all journey on the road together and may Jesus bless us richly in these days!

“As a graduate of this school, I can attest to not only the strong education I received from SCA but also the strong foundation I was given in which I could build my own faith upon. I felt fully prepared for the ‘real world’ both academically and spiritually.”

“The community service, the focus on virtuous living, and the sisterhood really instills compassion and respect for all of humanity.”

“An excellent community for families that want to stay involved!”

“This place (SCA) is about the best Catholic high school you can go to, in my opinion. The whole school isn’t just a school, but a family where everybody knows everybody. It’s a small enough school for that to be possible-and it’s really awesome! What makes SCA different is the people that make up the SCA family. There are no bullies and no one is mean to you. Everybody looks out for you and your teachers become friends….This place is really close to my heart.”

“Another thing I enjoyed about the school was the athletics. I played four different sports at this school and I had the same experience with all of them. The coaches really cared about me, not just how well I was performing and I was treated respectfully on and off the court. Further more, I felt that I was really being pushed physically and mentally during practice which I value in any activity.”

“I have been very impressed with the teachers at this school. They both challenge the girls academically and show true concern for them on a personal level as well.”

“SCA proves you can educate young women to both get into Heaven and Harvard!”
