Moms’ Club Christmas Tree Decorating and Holiday Sock Exchange

The SCA Moms’ Club is planning to host their Annual Tree Decorating Event on Sunday, November 27, beginning at 10 am. We will begin with a potluck breakfast (signup genius will be sent out) and Holiday Sock Exchange. Buy a pair of socks and fill one with goodies and tie it up with a ribbon. The empty sock will be placed in a basket and everyone that brings in socks to exchange will select an empty one and then will find its goodie-filled match. Once we have filled our bellies and our hearts, we will begin decking the halls.
Holiday Sock Exchange FAQs
- Do you have to participate?
No, of course not, but it’s fun so why not?!?. Only those that bring socks will be participating.
- Do they need to be Christmas Socks?
No, they can be any type of (new) sock.
- Is there a minimum or maximum you should spend on the socks and/or the goodies inside?
There is no minimum, but I would try to keep the cost of your socks and goodies under $25.
- What types of items should you put inside the socks?
Candy, wine or spirits, self-care items, gift cards, etc.
