St. Cate’s Café

St. Cate’s Café, located adjacent to the lounge area in the athletic atrium, provides a relaxed area to socialize, study, and eat. The Café will be open from 3:00pm to 3:45pm, for those students who are staying after school for various reasons. The Café offers sandwiches, healthy snacks, treats, smoothies and assorted drinks.

St. Cate’s Kitchen

A lunch menu for the month will be published and posted to the school website and on the bulletin board outside the Dining Hall.

For the 2020-2021 Academic Year the kitchen will offer assorted box lunches and salads, carry out style. All lunches must be preordered. The lunch order form will cover two weeks at a time, and be submitted no later than Saturday, at 6 pm.

Lunch Account Information

St. Cate’s Kitchen is cashless.

  • Students will be issued a four-digit pin that links to their lunch account.
  • Parents must set up their Wordware Account.
    • After initial set-up of the account, your student’s lunch account can be accessed through your Parent PowerSchool account. Note, you must be on a desktop/laptop computer to access PowerSchool as the lunch account cannot be accessed from the app.
    • For a tutorial on how to set up your account, please click here.
  • All lunch balances and transactions can be found in the parent’s Power School account, under Lunch (the knife & fork)
  • Parents and students are responsible for checking their lunch balance in Wordware/Edutrak and making a payment if necessary when they submit their lunch order.
  • As a lunch balance drops, parents will receive a notice via text to add more money to the lunch account. We recommend you set an automatic refill amount in Wordware/Edutrak.
  • If a student makes an after-school purchase and the account drops below zero during the transaction, a one-time override will be issued.
  • All students with a negative lunch balance will not be able to charge lunch.
  • Lunch deposits will be refunded upon a student’s final departure from SCA.

“This high school experience is like none other you can get anywhere. There is joy and comradery and the girls are happy and excel. They are being supported and encouraged by staff. You can watch a girl come in who had a bad experience elsewhere, bloom here and become a different girl in a short time. Can’t say enough good about it. Thank God the founders had this vision and followed through with it. Well needed and we are very thankful!”

“A crazy amount of extra curricular options-basically if you are passionate about it [SCA] will find a way to help you bring it to fruition!”

“The community service, the focus on virtuous living, and the sisterhood really instills compassion and respect for all of humanity.”

SCA Parent

“SCA is authentically and unapologetically Catholic. It’s excellence in academics and athletics is rooted in its mission to pass on the beauty of the Catholic faith in a way that is relevant to the modern world. The result is a constant focus on the character and virtue of its students, challenging them to be the best version of themselves not just academically, but spiritually as well.”

SCA Parent

“This school has a very strong faith atmosphere! The school is fairly new, but is starting to build a name for itself both spiritually and academically. The faculty and staff rock!”

Student, Class of '19

“This high school builds the whole young woman intellectually, spiritually, and teaches the feminine genius approach to life. Amen!”

“I LOVE this school. The teachers are excellent. Because the students are so friendly, it’s easy to fit in and make friends even if you have had a tough time at other schools. There is virtually no bullying and it is a very friendly, positive environment. Highly recommended.”

Alumna, Class of '17

“The school lives up to their mission statement by unlocking the feminine genius in the girls who go there and providing us with the opportunity to discover who we are meant to be.”

“An excellent school that brings the girls together more like sisters rather than friends.”

“I have been very impressed with the teachers at this school. They both challenge the girls academically and show true concern for them on a personal level as well.”
