Athletic Director of the Year, Carlos Calderon

SCA is proud to share the news that our very own Carlos Calderon has been named the 2021-22 CHSL Athletic Director of the year. Congratulations, Carlos, this is a well-deserved honor!
Carlos joined St. Catherine of Siena Academy as the athletic director July 1, 2019. During his short time at SCA, he has stuck with his initial goal for the STARS’ athletic program, “to continue to keep building {the program}, and to have our girls modeling the mission of the school.” With 86% of our #STARS participating in sports and offering 16 sports for the 2022-23 academic year, Carlos is hitting the mark!
Growing the program for Carlos includes not only the number of athletes participating and the number of available sports, but also the hiring of mission driven coaches of the highest caliber. He is focused on student success at all levels: athletic, spiritual, relational.
