Our STARS shine bright!

Each week throughout the school year, our teachers nominate students to be the STAR of the Week based on how well they are living out our four cornerstones and how brightly their feminine genius has been shining. Our administrative team then chooses a STAR from each grade in a monthly rotation to honor for a week. This serves to honor our less obvious student leaders who may not normally see any time in the spotlight, but deserve recognition for their everyday hard work.
To start things off this fall, we’re congratulating senior Bridget Grumm! She is being recognized for the leadership she has shown within the National Honor Society, where she is doing a great job. She also continues to challenge herself academically in the classroom and is consistently, “sunny and polite and reassuring to her peers.”
About SCA, Bridget says, “I am thankful to SCA for creating such a wonderful community for me to learn and grow. Everyone supports and cares for one another – there is always a friend to talk to. I am the person I am today because of the spirituality, academics, athletics, and sisterhood of St. Catherine of Siena Academy.”
