Student Resources

Here are some friendly reminders from the Dean of Students about how STARS are expected to conduct themselves during online learning days:

  1. Attendance: Attendance will be taken. You are expected to be on time and in class, video on, for the entire session. Failure to follow procedures may result in your being marked absent for the class session.
  2. Attire: Dress appropriately. SCA Spirit Wear is always a good choice.
  3. Posture: Be seated at a table or desk. Do not lie down on your bed. Have the lights on.
  4. Test your Technology: Have your technology turned on and ready to go before the class starts.
  5. Be Aware of your Background: Look behind you. Everything OK back there?
  6. Look in the Lens: This is the equivalent of looking someone in the eye.
  7. Do Not Submit to Distractions: This is a class, and it should be treated as such. Avoid engaging in other apps, playing with your phone, etc. It might help to create an environment where those temptations are not readily available. Commit to being an attentive student.

2020-21 Yearbooks

STARS can now submit photos and purchase yearbooks for the 2020-2021 school year! Please follow this link or click on to submit photos, place orders for year book ads, or order your year book online.

Photos from sporting events, performances, and meetings will all be considered by the yearbook committe! The code for uploading pictures is “stars”.

Please email Mrs. Ciarelli if you have any questions about the yearbook.

Academic Honors Night

Academic honors are awarded annually by the faculty to students for outstanding merit, academic achievement, and personal growth in all areas. Due to COVID-19  we were unable to present these awards in person on Wednesday, May 6. In the absence of the assembly, the faculty have recorded what they would have presented that evening for most of the awards and honors bestowed upon students in grades 9-12. Certificates have been created for each honor and will be emailed to students this week. Please enjoy!

“I have been very impressed with the teachers at this school. They both challenge the girls academically and show true concern for them on a personal level as well.”

SCA Parent

“As a graduate of this school, I can attest to not only the strong education I received from SCA but also the strong foundation I was given in which I could build my own faith upon. I felt fully prepared for the ‘real world’ both academically and spiritually.”

MaryKatherine

“Another thing I enjoyed about the school was the athletics. I played four different sports at this school and I had the same experience with all of them. The coaches really cared about me, not just how well I was performing and I was treated respectfully on and off the court. Further more, I felt that I was really being pushed physically and mentally during practice which I value in any activity.”

Alumna

“The school lives up to their mission statement by unlocking the feminine genius in the girls who go there and providing us with the opportunity to discover who we are meant to be.”

MaryKatherine

“This school has a very strong faith atmosphere! The school is fairly new, but is starting to build a name for itself both spiritually and academically. The faculty and staff rock!”

Student, Class of '19

“This school is not only college prep, it is life prep. I know that my daughter is being educated to go out and make a positive difference in the world. She will graduate with the confidence and courage to lead wherever she goes in life. I love the principal, the teachers, and the families. It is such a blessing to be a part of the SCA Family. I know the friends my daughter has made will be her sisters for life.”

SCA Parent

“SCA proves you can educate young women to both get into Heaven and Harvard!”

SCA Parent

“My family has had an excellent experience at this school so far. Beyond the beautiful new facility, I have been impressed with the teachers and the administration! They challenge the girls both academically and spiritually, they know them by name, and appear to have a genuine concern for each individual student. The school really feels like a family. As a parent, it is a blessing to me to know that my daughter is in such good hands when I drop her off everyday.”

Alumna

“An excellent community for families that want to stay involved! Everyone has a different opinion and all students, staff, and faculty are respectful of it. I have never been in an environment that was so inviting and welcoming. It is easy to find a home in this school because the staff genuinely care about you and want you to succeed. It really is a beautiful place and a great experience. I am very lucky to have gone through high school there.”
