Celebrating academic achievement in the spirit of the Sisterhood! The 2024 Honors Assembly was a reminder of St. Catherine Academy's commitment to excellence, inspiring our students to continue striving for greatness and supporting their sisters in their endeavors. Highlights from the 2024 Honors Assembly

On May 3, our school gathered for the annual Honors Assembly, a celebration of our students' achievements. The ceremony recognized seniors earning Cum Laude Honors cords and students receiving year-end awards. Departmental Awards were given to seniors, and outstanding students in grades 9-12 were acknowledged by their teachers. High-achieving juniors received Book Awards.

Valedictorians and Salutatorians received medals:

  • Valedictorians: Elizabeth Harris, Grace Lancaster, Antonia Leonardo, Hannah Lisch, Therese Prince, Rose Worth
  • Salutatorians: Katherine Hans, Sarah Palushaj

The assembly also honored students achieving Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, and Cum Laude honors based on their cumulative GPA.

  • Summa Cum Laude recipients, including Sophia Amori, Lauren Dotto, Crystal Edward, Katherine Hans, Elizabeth Harris, Grace Lancaster, Antonia Leonardo, Hannah Lisch, Sarah Palushaj, Ellison Pinter, Therese Prince, Lauren Schunder, Kennedy Skown, and Rose Worth, achieved a remarkable cumulative GPA of 3.95 or higher.
  • Magna Cum Laude honorees, such as Sofia Ankawi, Caroline Connor, Adrienne Edge, Maria Friel, Lucia George, Madison Hook, Emersen Johnson, Madison Juchno, Lauren Kas-Shamoun, Bryce Lang, Eve Lassaline, Keegan Maher, Tia Manimalethu, Tara Nalepka, Courtney Pelon, Gabriella Said, Abigail Savage, and Philomena Sproule, attained a GPA between 3.70 and 3.94.
  • Lastly, Cum Laude awardees, including Sarah Alstott, Madelyn Bashir, Clara Mechigian, Lauren Proper, Annabelle Sharrak, and Madison Walker, achieved a commendable GPA between 3.50 and 3.69. These honors underscore the academic excellence and commitment to learning demonstrated by these outstanding students.

Additionally, Mr. Paul Davidson was nominated for the Excellence in Teaching Award, representing the Archdiocese of Detroit, for his dedication to educational excellence. Congratulations, Mr. Davidson!
