Why Give?
At St. Catherine of Siena Academy, we seek to form the whole woman through a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, vibrant spiritual life, competitive athletics, and many opportunities for service, leadership, and personal growth. Your generosity allows us to continue our mission to awaken in young women their feminine genius by nurturing a sense of self—academically, socially, and spiritually—instilling in them a confidence to claim their inheritance as daughters of God.
Why would one consider giving to a private, Catholic high school? Some of our SCA families give as a way of saying, “thank you,” for the intangible gift their daughters receive – discovering who they are as a daughter of God. Some give because they know it allows SCA to support others who cannot fully afford the cost of tuition. Some will give because it’s an opportunity to grow closer to God by practicing good stewardship and giving thanks for their abundant blessings. Almsgiving is a way of sharing in God’s work to sustain and support all his children. We encourage giving at any level, by all families, even those receiving tuition assistance, because it demonstrates to our community sponsors and generous benefactors the commitment our families have to the school.
